Quality and consistency are key to social media success.
Recent studies have shown that there are optimal posting frequencies for different social media platforms. And for B2B marketers, this optimum is different from B2C marketing and influencer or even personal posts.
Industry leaders Neil Patel says,
If you post too infrequently, your audience will forget that you exist and you will quickly fade into the deep dark recesses of their minds. However, if you are posting too often, you will become a complete nuisance and they will dread seeing your posts overcrowding their feed.
How Often to Post on Facebook
Most studies agree that once per day is optimal, with a maximum of two posts per day.
Hubspot analysts found that pages that have fewer than 10,000 followers experienced a 50{21dc2fe1b43c4cf57a2e25a56b286f09fbb32a45ddf34dcf04be366972dd7b06} drop in engagement per post if they posted more than once per day.
At a minimum, you should post to your Facebook pages 3 times per week.
When to Post to Facebook
The early afternoon seems to be shown as the optimal time for business to post. During this time more people are online and sharing content.
However, you need to check your page’s Facebook Insights to learn the times that your audience is most active. You can then schedule your posts in advance on your Facebook Page.
